For sitefinity 3.7, is it better to set up the database in the same server as IIS or in separate server? Does it matter? Will it improve the performance of sitefinity of I set it up in the same server as IIS?

    Hi Pik,

If the database is on the same server then the SQL will use the server resources of the machine - RAM, CPU, hard drive etc. It is better to use separate servers and this is useful when you want to have failover.
