I have a need to have two default pages for the website that I am working on:

The need for the second default page, is due to the url having been given out to a large number of people

    Hi James,

Please refer to the User Manual, section Configuring IIS > Extensionless URLs. This topic describes an approach that handles HTTP 404 errors which you get if you request an extensionless URL like

After you configure IIS, follow the steps below:
    1. Select the Register page in the sitemap and then click Duplicate.
    2. Go to the Properties tab.
    3. Set the Register page as a Page Group (this type pf page redirects to the first sub page).
    4. Save the changes.
    5. Move the duplicated page under Register (the page group) and rename it to Register.
    See the PageGroup.jpg for details.

When you complete the above steps, the home page will open if you access the site through:
The Register page will open if you type:

It is not quite clear, though, if your register and home page have identical content. If this is so, and you want one and the same page to open when typing either of the 4 URLs above, after completing the above steps, you need to:
    1. Select the Register page group in the sitemap and set it as home page.
    2. Go to the Properties tab.
    3. Expand the More Options section.
    4. Find Page URLs and click Add URL.
    5. In the Another URL field, type ~/home.aspx.
    6. Save the changes.
    See OptionalURL.jpg for details.
