We are currently running the Communiity Edition 3.7 SP2 and would like to install SP3.  When we first installed the Community Edition we did so via the manual process rather than the using the auto-installer.  In light of this is it ok just to install SP3 over the manual installation?

    Hi Phil Duffy,

If you use the executable this will automatically create a new virtual directory under IIS and a new directory under ProgramFiles/telerik folder. When you work with Blank projects the version does not matter, because you create a new website or virtual directory for each installation.

In case of upgrading you should patch the old project  - more information can be found at Upgrade Instructions
