    Dear Sitefinity Team,

Currently we have a client that requires a multilingual site, we are using Sitefinity 3.6 and we are giving support for 5 languages.
The problem that we are facing at the moment is that the client wants (needs) that the site search only searches or returns results for the current language. I haven´t been able to figure out how to set up a localized search index or how to configure the search box or search results controls to return just the results of the current language. Is this feature natively supported by Sitefinity? or do I have to create a custom index provider?
Can you provide me the source code of the PageIndex index provider to base my custom provider?

    Thank you in advance,
    Francisco Grau

    Hello Francisco,

This is not supported by Sitefinity natively, and you are right that you should create a custom page index for this task. Please check the forum post EventsIndexProvider - Include your Events in the Search Results, you will find two IndexProvider examples there.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    the Telerik team
