I am very interested in SiteFinity, but every attempt to install it has failed and I am ready to throw in the towel.

It has been a few months and when I saw it on MS Web Platform Installer, decided to try it again.  It dies w/the message below.  I am running Windows 7.  I am pointing it to my local machine's .\SQLEXPRESS, which is SQL Server 2008.  When I try to add this user ('IIS APPPOOL\SitefinityCommunityEdition') to the SQL Server logins, I get an error, "no such user".  When I then try to add a SitefinityCommunityEdition user to my local machine, I see that user names are limited to 20 characters, so it truncates to SitefinityCommunityE.  I am stuck, what am I doing wrong?

There was an error trying to connect to the Database Server:
Cannot open database "SiteFinityTest" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'IIS APPPOOL\SitefinityCommunityEdition'.

    Hello KlaatuMcGoo,

You need to add IIS APPPOOL\SitefinityCommunityEdition as SQL user of type dbo, or you can just create another user under which the project will be run. Another option is using NETWORK SERVICE account that exists under Windows 7

    All the best,
