I have installed Sitefinity 3.7 sp2. I followed the setup instructions and everything seems ok.
I have an existing sitefinity website which exists in source control.
I want to set this website up to use on my local machine.
Should this be as easy as checking out the solution from source control and then creating a separate site for it in IIS in the normal way? Should I then be able to browse to localhost and see my sitefinity administration set up?
Should it be set up as a completely separate site with it's own app pool etc or are there different properties that I need to set up to get it to work properly?

    Hi Simon Begg,

    1. You need to checkout the files to your local system and create repository.
    2. Create a website or virtual directory under IIS or open the project in Visual Studio.
    3. Set the connection string in the web.config file if you use another or local server to host your database.
