I am a customer of Telerik and own the rad controls and use them in some of my websites. I love the tools and decided to try out the community edition of sitefinity. I figured, I would build a personal blog type site with it and if it seemed easy enough to use, may purchase a license or two for some sites that I may be developing.

Anyway, after installing the software, this is the latest 3.1_SP2, and doing all that the install package says, everything works but the TIUSite for some reason. It complains about this:

    Server Error in '/telerik/TIUSite' Application.

The file '/telerik/tiusite/App_Master/Header, footer, content, sidebar.master' does not exist.

I have looked in the App_Master area and I do not see the files that it is looking for. The other site appears to work, so I am assuming that the master pages and templates are there. Actually I just checked and the file is there. Should I just manually copy this file to the other site, or is there a different file for the TIU site verses the JobIntraSite.

    Hello Patrick,

This is strange - the Telerik International University does not use the .master file that gives the error you showed. This suggests the database is not the original one that goes with the TIU site. You could manually paste the file (taken from the JobsIntraSite) in the TIU App_Master folder and check whether it will run or not. For your convenience, I have attached the master file. However, I recommend you uninstall Sitefinity and then install it again. You do not need to install both the community edition and the patch file - the edition would be enough to cover the latest changes. The patch would be in use to you only if you had an earlier Sitefinity version installed and you just wanted to apply the latest changes without uninstalling the whole version.

Please, let us know how it goes and whether the problem persists.
