Where is the language choice?

    I can't find the the language selection for the Sitefinity Desktop Application. Where is it?

    Hi Jan,

    Please note that the Sitefinity Desktop Application does not have multilingual support. It works only with the default language. When you go to Menu » Open from site »  News only the default translation of an item will be displayed. If the item does not have a default translation, one of the other translations will be displayed. 

    When you open for edit an item in a non-default language version and then click Save as draft it considers it for a new item (because there is no default translation for this item) and creates it. 

    We have logged a feature request in our feedback portal related to this on the following link. You can vote to increase its popularity.
