    It would be great if a user was able to create a generic based module without programming.

    In Drupal you can do this and it is called Views. This would save a hack of alot of work and get alot of buy in from non programmers and programmers alike..

    3.x version does not support this. You can use additional providers for a given module. We will consider your request as a possible implementation for Sitefinity 4 versions.
