    Hi all

Been looking at Memcached and the upcoming Microsoft Distributed Cache "Velocity" recently.
Know you have caching built in but for larger multi web server solutions are there any plans to build in support for an external cache? Would take the pressure of the Sitefinity DB if you were using the in database option...?

    Hello mattc,

We support external cache, but Velocity us used for ASP.NET session objects. Generally we do not use session in Sitefinity, but if you have such implementation there will not be a problem to set Velocity as your storage.
