I noticed in the Roadmap that a Newsletter feature is planned for 3.2. I thought I would help make life harder for your developers with a suggestion.

An interesting idea on this would be to allow folks to add content sections similar to the list module.

The "Newsletter List" module would allow the SF user to enter content and reorder content like the list module, but you could also select content from other generic content areas like blogs, news, lists, and pages. For each "Newsletter List" the user could specify a XSLT template that would then output HTML when sending the template as email and when displaying the Newsletter on the website.

The benefit would be a simple templated newsletter similar to the Telerik newsletter that requires almost no manual editing. You simply pull content from different areas of your website or manually add content to a Newsletter List Item.

Just a thought. We had not finished this implementation.
