    I've hit a timeout a few times when entering data into a generic content control.  It's frustrating to lose the later 20-30 minutes worth of typing because of a timeout.  I would like to see some ability to extend the authentication window, even if it's an "i'm on a private computer" check box similar to how Outlook Web Access handles the situation.

    Hello Colin Bowern,

    By default, the expiration time is set to 30 min in the application web.config file. You can easily change this value to increase the page timeout by modifying the timeout attribute:

    <authentication mode="Forms">
    <forms name=".ASPNET" loginUrl="~/sitefinity/login.aspx" protection="All" timeout="30" path="/"/>

    Another option is to use the ‘Remember me on this computer’ checkbox when you are logging in. This will keep your session alive until you close the browser.
