Before the 3.5 update, I was able to publish new templates (masterpages) into the App_Master folder using FTP and have them automatically appear in the sitemap->Templates section. Now, I have uploaded a new master page through ftp into that folder but it is not showing up.

i uploaded it through the sitefinity admin, and the cs file did not copy. I thought this was fixed already but I might have my versions confused...

also, in medium trust, I'm not able to upload templates, I get a security error. is uploading templates in medium trust not supported? I don't have the error because this was at home on my personal site... will update later tonight when I try again. if uploading in medium trust is not supported, and I can't upload via ftp anymore, how do I register new templates?

    thanks!

    Hi SelArom,

I tried to recreate your master page issue (using Sitefinity 3.5) and managed to upload my sample template (including the codefile) via the UI perfectly fine.

I also managed to FTP a sample master page and it does display among the already existing Templates. I just had to restart the application in order to get my test template showing within the project.

    In terms of Medium trust:
There are some known issues with RadProgressArea as described in http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/upload_progressradprogressarea.html and
    http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/progressarea-known-limitations.html

Try getting rid off the RadProgressAreas and see if that is going to help.

    Kind regards,
