    Hello,

I was looking at this post by Ivan Dimitrov and his suggestion to the original question.

    http://www.sitefinity.com/developer-network/forums/suggestions-/need-textarea-control-on-edit-panel-of-a-usercontrol

I have a very similar requirement wherein, on the edit of UserControl i need to get TextArea(RadEditor control) for one of the properties.

When I try to create the custom Webeditor class in the App_code, I get the error on the line: Telerik.Cms.Web.UI.Control.WebUITypeEditor<string>

It says cms does not exist in the namespace. Could you please suggest the alternative for this?

    Thanks.

    Hello NewBee,

Which version of Sitefinity are you working on? The Telerik.Cms namespace exists only in Sitefinity 3.x and prior it. After the release of Sitefinity 4.0 + version the core namespace is Telerik.Sitefinity.

In case you are using a Sitefinity 4.0 + version you can try the approach discussed in the following forum thread:

    http://www.sitefinity.com/developer-network/forums/developing-with-sitefinity-/custom-widget-designer---add-a-sitefinity-htmlfield-(or-radtexteditor)

    or the following post:
