CRITERIA AND ELIGIBILITY 

The Sitefinity Website of the Quarter awards recognize outstanding websites for their excellence in user experience and their innovation in applying Sitefinity features and capabilities.

The Top 5 Sitefinity Website Awards operate on calendar quarters. Nominations for each quarter are accepted throughout the entire quarter period, and winners are announced in the next. For example, nominations for Q3’16 will be accepted from July 1 till September 30, 2016, and winners announced in Q4’16. Eligible to participate in the contest are only Sitefinity websites launched in the quarter for which nominations are accepted. Submissions will be accepted from authorized representatives with the organization owning the website and also from implementation companies (e.g. Sitefinity partners) provided that proper consent has been granted by the website owner.

Submissions can be sent via the Top 5 Website of the Quarter Application Form.

CRITERIA
  • Visual Design
    Visual design refers to the appearance of the website. Good visual design is appealing to the human eye, appropriate, and also successfully supports the messaging of the website.
  • Content
    Content refers to the information presented on the site and takes different forms - text, music, sound, animation, video. Good content should be engaging, relevant and appropriate for the audience.
  • Layout and Navigation
    Layout and navigation is how a website is structured, how content is organized and prioritized within the site's framework and how you move through the site. Sites with good layout and navigation are consistent and intuitive.
  • Innovation
    Innovative use of technology on the site. Innovative functionality should push the envelope of what has been achieved in the past and enable the website to best serve the needs of visitors.
