    I have a series of dropdownlists (or RadComboBoxes, for when I'm feeling saucy) that I'm trying to catch a  SelectedIndexChanged event on, and it's working fine when I just drop my control into a standard aspx page.  But when I use sitefinity, the event seems to disappear into nowhere land, and never gets to my event handler.  It is using AutoPostBack on the control, which I suppose is getting lost, but I'm really out of ideas where it may be going.

    Thanks for any ideas,
    Francis

    Hi Francis,

    Thank you for pointing this out. It turned out that certain type of events disappear because we replace the Form object at runtime. This is a bit of a hack and the reasons for that are out of the scope of the current post. The workaround is to change the Form object at design time in the Master Page.

    Here is how you can do that:

    <% @ Register Namespace ="Telerik.Cms.Web" Assembly ="Telerik.Cms" TagPrefix ="sf1" %>

    <!--
    Replace the regular form
    <form id="form1" runat="server"></form>
    -->
    < sf1 : CmsForm ID ="form1" runat ="server">
    < div >
    </ div >
    </ sf1 : CmsForm >

    Note that this workaround will not work for SF 3.0 Beta 2.

    Kind regards,
    Bob
