    Hi:

    I think this is a bug on your site.

    I tried to edit an image path from content placeholder.  <img src="image/image.gif"/>  It works perfect when the .aspx is just under first level such as ~/Contact,aspx.  If I am editing images in ~/Contact/Feedback.aspx file, it always shows path /Sitefinity/admin/image/image.gif.  I always have to give an absolute path which is http://domainname/image/image.gif.  When I upgrade to RC2, it took me several days to fix all the links.  Please send me a work around.  Thank you for much.

    Hi Smart,

    You should declare your image tags like this:
    <img src="~/Images/MyImage.gif" runat="server" />

    Or use image control:
    <asp:Image ImageUrl="~/Images/MyImage.gif" runat="server" />

    Also you can use rooted paths (/MyApp/Images/MyImage.gif) but then you have to make sure that the application root on your dev machine matches the root on the production machine or application root and site root must be the same.

    To quickly replace the paths in all master pages I suggest using Replace in Files tool from Visual Studio.

    Kind regards,

    Hi:

    I am sorry but everything in masterpage is working absolutely fine.  I am talking about all the .aspx pages which have to go through the sitefinity edit.  And all those pages are not located directly in root but one level down e.g. ~/Default/Secondlevel.aspx.

    Could you please do some tests.  With RC1, sitefinity set all path to /admin, now /sitefinity/admin because you add the new directory.

    And even worse, ~ is not working inside sitefinity edit.  If I set <img src="~/Images/MyImage.gif" runat="server" /> It give out path /domainname/~/image/image.gif.

    Please let me know if this is understandable, if still not, I wish I could send you my project.

    Regards,
    Smart

    Hello Smart,

    I’m sorry but I don’t understand where and how you use the images. Can you please open a support ticket and send us your project?
