    Hi John,

Please, open a support ticket and send us the domain name or IP where you plan to use Sitefinity v3. Basically, we will need the URL by which it will be accessed. As soon as we get this information, we will send you the needed keys.

    Best wishes,
    Rob

    Hello,

I am testing this on my local development system. I do not know what the eventual IP address or domain will be.

I am assuming there will be a development license similar to the existing licensing scheme. Is this going to be the case?

Is there still a need to open a support ticket?

    Thanks,
    John

    Hi again John,

If you want to update Sitefinity v3 to its Dev counterpart, simply update all r.a.d.controls with their respective Dev counterparts (note that Sitefinity uses r.a.d.panelbar v4 beta, so you may need to start a ticket in order to send you the Dev version).

I think this will take care of the licensing problems now. Note that this will change with the beta release and you will need a key to use Sitefinity.

To all other readers of this Forum:

    Guys,
if you do not have access to the Dev version of the telerik controls and need license keys, please write to betasupport@telerik.com (or open a new support ticket) with the information I have requested from John. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Thanks for the quick reply; however, I am not sure you answered one of the questions; "I am assuming there will be a development license similar to the existing licensing scheme. Is this going to be the case? "

Another way of asking the question: Are you going back to a per site license 'only' as was the case with Sitefinity 1?

    Thanks,
    John

Sorry for not answering this question, John. We will keep the current licensing, so no changes will be made in this regard. This means that we will have development licenses, yes.

    Sincerely yours,
