    Guys,

I noticed that in this version of sitefinity, if you place content or a module in the template, the content is inherited by all the pages using that template.  However, the content cannot be removed or overwritten, you can only add new content/modules to the same placeholder.  This greatly differs from previous versions of siteifnity, where the pages inherited the content, but the user had the option of removing or changing it if they desired.  I think i like the old way better and so do our clients.  It just seems more flexible.  I'm not sure if this is a bug or was by design.

    Thanks,
    Fregas

    Hi Fregas,

Thanks for the issue. Indeed if Sitefinity has this functionality it would be much more flexible and easier to maintain. We are planning to implement it in one of our future releases but it won't make it into the official release.

    Thank you once again.

    All the best,

Ok, thanks.  Its something we can work around for now, but i'd like to see it in the future.  You guys have been very responsive and we appreciate that a lot.
