Has anyone noticed that when selecting shared content grid does not scroll. This occurs when selecting shared content from a Template or a Page if the grid is larger then the dialog (obviously). I am using IE7.

I apologize if this has already been discussed.

    Thanks,

    Ben

Also, this probably has been discussed already, given the extensive discussion on the News module, but the following two minor thing I noticed:

    1. In the web.config the MM aren't caps so the month shows up incorrect.
    2. If an article is published on the same day with the same title...the more link shows the correct link but with a "-258292343" (or something like it) after the url. This renders the link unusable.
    3. If you then change the Publication date. The News item no longer appears in the NewsList.

    Thanks,

    Ben

Also, while the Publication_Date is on the SingleNews template. It is not pulling any data.

    Thanks,

    Ben

Call me crazy, but I am getting a silly error that will probably never occur in production. Here is how to repeat it:

    1. type misstake in the editor (notice the ss)
    2. run spell check
    3. ignore the error and click finish spell check
    4. type mistake (correctly)
    5. run spell check again

After telling you that you have no errors. It reverts back to the mispelled word.

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hello Ben,

For the first post (3/21/2007 3:28:50 PM):
Are you getting this subtle behavior when selecting shared content in a generic content control? There are some issues with scrolling, but I could not reproduce the problem for the generic content control. When selecting shared content, if the grid is too large, it switches to paging so it is always viewed in whole. Can you please be more specific?

For the second post (3/21/2007 9:39:10 PM):
        1. Yes, thank you for bringing this up, we are working on a fix for it.
        2. This is also being fixed. Each URL should be unique.
        3. Are you sure that you are specifying a publication date earlier than the current date? I didn't have any problems showing the news item.

For the third post (3/21/2007 10:25:52 PM):
I reproduced the problem, thank you for noticing and bringing this to our attention.

For the fourth post (3/22/2007 12:22:04 AM):
I'm sorry but I could not reproduce it, with me the spellcheck is working perfectly. Please specify what is the control you are editing and the detailed steps that you executed to get the error.

    Sincerely yours,
    Slavo

    In order of appearence.

    1. I posted a screenshot to an exisiting support ticket.

    2. The news item dissappears after you create two that have the same title and the same publication date. then go back and try to make the URL unique on the second news item by changing the publication date. The select live site and look at the list. It won't appear there. This will not be an issue though after the unique name issue is resolved.

    3. the spell check issue occurs on a user control in my sitefinity project. Could it be state related. I can't reproduce it on Telerik.com general contact.

    Hello Ben,

    1. I finally reproduced the problem. It seems to be a styling issue in IE 7, everything works more than fine in Firefox. Thank you for noticing it, we will investigate it further.

    2. I reproduced the problem with the unusable link, but I cannot reproduce the one with missing item in the list. When I create two news items with same title and same publication date, it displays the 'more' link with a weird number in the end. But even after changing the publication date to one earlier than the current date, it still displays it in the news list. The NewsList does not display items, that have publication date before the current date (meaning today). So if you set a date in the future it would not be displayed, which is normal.

    3. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you if the spellcheck is a state issue before we see a sample project and the control you are using. Can you please send a project in which you use the user control giving the error, so that we can investigate it.

    Regards,
    Slavo
