    Howdy,

I'm new to Sitefinity, so of course, my first task was to upgrade one of our deployments from SF 5.1 to 5.4. I followed the upgrade instructions, and everything looked good on my development box. But, when I deployed the upgraded site to our production server the editing controls disappeared. (See attached screenshot).

I think the error is a result of the following script being called from the Property Parser, which returns an error to the browser (the actual hostname has been removed to protect the innocent):

    http://hostname.com/Telerik.Web.UI.WebResource.axd?_TSM_HiddenField_=ctl01_TSM&compress=0&_TSM_CombinedScripts_=%3b%3bTelerik.Sitefinity%2c+Version%3d5.4.4020.0%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3db28c218413bdf563%3aen%3ad50801eb-9d53-46cf-9dfe-9382c196c0c9%3a4a73a146%3a308ff405%3a80c147f%3af77740f1%3a26cfb6dc%3a6e04508f%3bTelerik.Sitefinity.Resources%3aen%3adaef661f-69d4-483a-93e1-cf21ba649a6a%3ac4ef6dcd%3a6f03d72a%3bTelerik.Sitefinity%2c+Version%3d5.4.4020.0%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3db28c218413bdf563%3aen%3ad50801eb-9d53-46cf-9dfe-9382c196c0c9%3a8bc17194%3ac1fc658e%3a447a22b8%3a1900ec7d%3a2aeb216e%3ad072ed8d%3a7109743d%3bTelerik.Web.UI%2c+Version%3d2012.3.1308.40%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3d121fae78165ba3d4%3aen%3aed0b2505-4ecf-45ea-bd67-f51c9ccd1855%3adc7e0bd%3a1569bb5f%3a63b115ed%3a1c565fc%3a30f1f089%3bTelerik.Sitefinity%2c+Version%3d5.4.4020.0%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3db28c218413bdf563%3aen%3ad50801eb-9d53-46cf-9dfe-9382c196c0c9%3a71a433fb%3aa05bbffe%3a6ef1aa4d%3ad1fb4819%3a688a162a%3a29ad74ff%3a5053a0f8%3bTelerik.Web.UI%2c+Version%3d2012.3.1308.40%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3d121fae78165ba3d4%3aen%3aed0b2505-4ecf-45ea-bd67-f51c9ccd1855%3a1e771326%3aa7e79140%3bTelerik.Sitefinity%2c+Version%3d5.4.4020.0%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3db28c218413bdf563%3aen%3ad50801eb-9d53-46cf-9dfe-9382c196c0c9%3a5c2616b0%3bTelerik.Web.UI%2c+Version%3d2012.3.1308.40%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3d121fae78165ba3d4%3aen%3aed0b2505-4ecf-45ea-bd67-f51c9ccd1855%3aed16cbdc%3bTelerik.Sitefinity%2c+Version%3d5.4.4020.0%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3db28c218413bdf563%3aen%3ad50801eb-9d53-46cf-9dfe-9382c196c0c9%3a41f6c3a7%3a4b27713b

    Any ideas?

    Hello Kris,

You can check a couple things:

    1. Since you mentioned that the problem reproduces after deployment, make sure you go through all IIS and server settings on this page particularly make sure you have all correct mappings :
    http://www.sitefinity.com/documentation/documentationarticles/installation-and-administration-guide/install-sitefinity/system-requirements-

    http://www.sitefinity.com/documentation/documentationarticles/installation-and-administration-guide/install-sitefinity/configuring-the-iis-to-host-sitefinity-projects
    2. If you're viewing the page through IE, IE has a limitation and it doesn't load more than 30 css files. This could be causing the problem.

    Regards,
    Jen Peleva
