I was trying to implement google maps on a custom pluggable module

I have registered the javascripts on the OnPreRender event

It seems to be working fine for IE, But on fireFox It seems that the javascript won't fully load on the first request and will set the browser in an endless loop until you refresh the page again then it loads.

I also tried the built-in Events module and it seems to have the same issue

has anyone successfully implemented Google Maps and got it working on FireFox ?
     Any help would be appreciated
    I'm Running XP SP3 and FF 3.0.10

    Hi Georgi,
     Thank you for replying
I've checked the post but it didn't address my problem, however with further investigation I figured out that the problem doesn't occur when FireBug was not installed/de-activated
The problem was caused by FireBug v1.3.3 with Net Panel enabled
Further details can be found in this post: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=1565
Thank you for your time and support

Look I dont mind cheap or free things but Google maps is a disgrace

Google maps are very cheap, have poor coverage and are a cop out and are very weak provide a basic mapping service Lacking :
    service level agreement
    quality
    Privacy (issues with data tracking)
accuracy (very poor and does not provide Geocoding)
Lack customisation and provide poor functionality
Directions do not take into account toll roads, congestion etc and are offer routes up one way streets and are generally very poor
Google maps are bad for developers and terrible for store finders for UK and US , agencies use them as it is a free service but its shit !

The Geocoding is really poor and it is only a basic mapping service, any company usig Goole maps I avoid at all costs !

For developers and business's they will often use Google as it's free though it does have huge usbaility / user experience issues a the Geocoding is weak (to postcode accuracy). Only when you pay google does it improve though providers like ViaMichelin and Bing offer a much better API service.

Google maps is a basic service (see it's homepage) and does not include anything of particular value with no support, sla in place and no advanced Geocoding for fleet management. Deveopment agencies find the platform to be very poor  for customisation (criteria searches , updating address's ) etc.

Anyone looking to review their maps for business (store finder , branch locator) for online or mobile really should think twice before lowering their brand value with Google !

I have to agree with Michel here in that as a mapping provider, the whole thing is poor with awful privacy issues raised day in day out.

I tried to remove my house from streetview and that was 3 weeks ago (still nothing) ! Google offer a okay service with no frills !
