This could happen if you declare the link directly. The link is resolved by the provider and then the relative path is returned. You could get the error if this page has been removed and then recreated which has generated a new ID. If the ID is the same the link should not be broken. I attached a sample video that proves this. If you use an older version, please upgrade to 3.7 SP3.
