    Hello Kylie Cosgrove,

    Please, do the following steps:
    You should be working in full trust.
    1. Open the folder ~/Sitefinity/ServiceAssemblies and delete the assembly there.
    2. Login in the project
    3. Go to the Newsletters module. Service Assemblies will be recreated automatically

    Hope this helps.

    Sincerely yours,
    Stoyanka Assenova

    Hi Kylie Cosgrove,

    Please, do the following steps:
    1. Open the web.config file and set the default settings in the web.config file
    <system.net>
       <mailSettings>
         <smtp from="mailmaster@yourdomain.com"
           <network host="smtp.yourdomain.com" userName="YourUsername" password="YourPassword" port="25" />
         </smtp>
       </mailSettings>
    </system.net>

    2. You should be working in full trust. Open the folder ~/Sitefinity/ServiceAssemblies and delete the assembly there.
    3. Login in the project
    4. Go to the Newsletters module. Service Assemblies will be recreated automatically

    5. Set SMTP Server Settings into the the backend panel (but not in the web.config file)

    Let us know about the results.

    Sincerely yours,

    Hello,
    Thanks for your reply.  We have done that and still have no luck.
    Our Infrastructure team have said that the Service Aseemblies folder is always empty (no file except for info.txt)

    Can you please advise?
    Thanks!

    Hi Kylie Cosgrove,

    Could you check whether there is logged error in sitefinity.log file when you try to access the module? Can you send the web.config and log file as well? Make sure that asp.net account has read and write rights over ServiceAssemblies folder.

    Just to let you know we fixed a lot of issues with Newsletter module in the last official release 3.6 SP2. There are a lot of new implementations and fixes. If possible, please give a try to an upgrade.

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov
