    Hello,

I've got a http 503 error when i try to submit changes on the SMTP server, in the newsletter module.

I assume there is a problem with the webservice.
Could it be possible that the service is stopped for some reason?

The version of Sitefinity is 3.6

    Thanks for your help

i put the stack trace below:

    Hello,

I have the same problem and the post you link  don't solve it (i try to run the module full trust etc...).
The parameters return true when i used them directly  from the webservice on a web browser but i get a 503 error  when i test them on the sitefinity newletter's smtp setting interface.

    Hello martin Sahuc,

If you have used MailingServiceProxy instance to test the settings there should not be a problem, furthermore it is strange that how you can use the webservice through the browser, but the same service fails when you try to set the settings through the module, because Error 503: Service Unavailable means that server took too long to answer and the connection timed out.
