    Hi all,

I've found a small issue with the head/meta tags in the templates. It seems when you add a link or meta tag to a template using the sitefinity template editor GUI (Pages > Tempates -> Properties), that these tags are not included when you preview a page which uses the template.  The live view of the page which uses the template includes the tags as expected.

It's not a major issue, however it does hinder the accuracy of the preview window because certain css style sheets are not used until you view the live page. Depending on the complexity of the css (for example if you are using strict XHTML), it could cause many issues.

Has anyone else run into this?

    Kevin

Any ETA on this ? This issue is apparently still present in Sitefinity 3.7:

Head Tags from a template are not taken into account when editing a page. They are used on the live site and in the preview window, though.

This is a annoyance for me since I am using the same .master file for multiple templates, the only differences being the controls and the Templates Head Tags.

For now, I have to use a control to dynamically add the CSS to the header in order to achieve the desired result.

    Hello Lucas,

The problem has been fixed. The fix will be available with the next SP of Sitefinity 3.7.
