    Hello
I copied my local website to a shared hosting domain and i take the error
"Generating user instances in SQL Server is disabled. Use sp_configure 'user instances enabled' to generate user instances"
I found a solution but the hosting are not willing to do that because of security reasons.
    What should i do?
    Thank you

    Hi kostas,

Crate a backup of the database( .back file) on your local server and ask your host to restore it. Then change your web.config connection string and run the project. You should be able to access the project with credentials you have used locally. SQL server settings and in this case sp_configure command cannot be executed from Sitefinity. This is a server side configuration.

    Best wishes,

You mean the sitefinity.mdf which is in app_data or the database which i created during setup of the website?
And if its the second, how can i find which database is used because i have a lot with similar names and i don't know which is the right. When i was trying to setup a new site i had problem in the step of creating database, so i made a lot of them

    Hello kostas,

Database which you use should be specified in the web.config - connectionString node. From there you can find which database you use.

In web.config the connection string refers to sitefinity.mdf and not the one that i've created as the video said on http://www.sitefinity.com/devnet/installation-guide/installation-guide-video-tutorial.aspx at the 22:00 minutes

    Thank you
