    Hi,
    I've just taken over a Sitefinity installation that has been running for a couple of years. I don't know too much Sitefinity.

    I can access the admin pages at http://www.myurl.com/sitefinity/admin but trying to go to http://www.myurl.com/telerik/sitefinity3.2 to set up a new project (to test some new templates) returns an error:

    Server Error in '/telerik/Sitefinity3.2' Application.

    Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

    Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Framework' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

    Source Error:

    Line 166:      </eventMappings>
    Line 167:      <providers>
    Line 168:        <add name="Simple Web Event Provider" type="Telerik.Utilities.TextFileWebEventProvider,Telerik.Framework" logFileName="~/App_Data/sitefinity.log"/>
    Line 169:        <add name="Simple Web Buffered Event Provider" type="Telerik.Utilities.BufferedTextFileWebEventProvider,Telerik.Framework" bufferMode="Notification" logFileName="~/App_Data/sitefinity.log"/>

    Any ideas??

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Dan,

    Check whether Telerik.Framework is located in your bin folder and it is accessible by ASP.NET /NETWORK SERVICE account. Make sure that you are running the project in full trust, because the health monitoring - from where the error comes from does not work in medium trust.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hi Ivan,

    The site seems to be running in full trust:

    </securityPolicy>
    <trust level="Full" originUrl=""/>
    </system.web>

    Telerik.Framework.dll is the site bin directory - 180KB

    The NETWORK SERVICE account has full priviliges to the bin directory.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Is this the correct web.config file for the app to referencing?

    Source File: D:\Website\Web\Website\web.config    Line: 168 - this is the one the main site uses, the create new project app seems to live c:\Program Files\telerik\SiteFinity3.2\ProjectManager with its own web.config file.

    Hi Dan,

    The error you pasted is thrown from the website, not from the ProjectManager.You can take a look at MSDN - Could not load file or assembly article which explains the error you are getting.

    Kind regards,
