    Greetings,

We have a Sitefinity 3.6 set up for a company which runs also a separate web site for its dealers. They asked us to duplicate the corporate menu on the dealers web site.

The solution we're thinking of is to include in all the dealer site's pages an iFrame which will point to a page we'll be creating especially for them with the header + menu.

Any opinion about this solution (which seems most reasonable)?
    You consideration would be appreciated.

    Chanan.

    Hi Chanan Zass,

    The options are several:
    1. To mirror the corporate menu with a iframe - this sounds reasonable indeed.
    2. To bind a menu located on the dealers site, to the corporate menu data source - this will allow you to use custom styling while having the same structure.
    3. Copy - paste the menu if is static one.

Personally I would go with 1 or 2, depending on if I want to style the menu on the second location.

    Best wishes,

    Many thanks for responding.

We've first thought of your solution no. 2, but the developers at the dealers' site were just too lazy to figure out a way to consume a dynamic XML that we wanted to offer them.

The way we're going to do it is follow solution no. 1, creating a simple template on our Sitefinity site with just a corporate logo and top navigation menu, then creating a page based on that template. This page would be called by the dealers' site using an iFrame.
Should work, but not tested yet.

    Thanks again.

    Chanan.

    Hello Chanan Zass,

I hope that everything will be fine with this approach.
Let me know though, if we could help you further.

    All the best,
