    Are frames supported in Sitefinity?

I created a control that has a frame in it and the user can specify the src of the frame at runtime. The page generates the code fine, through view source, but the actual rendering doesn't happen.

When viewing the control in VS, I get the 404 error as the src has not been set. I even created two columns and hard-coded the second column. In VS it shows up, but in the browser, I don't get either.

Well I still can't get the "Frameset" to work, but I was able to get "iframe" to work. It works in IE, Netscape, and firefox.

I am still interested in finding out if Sitefinity renders the html in a way that causes the "Frameset" to not function correctly.

    Hello Jim,

Could you elaborate a little bit on your scenario? You can't have frames inside an ordinary page. You can define frames only in a frameset page. We think that it's more appropriately if you use an IFRAME instead.

    Greetings,
