    Hi,
I recently came across two pages in our (v3.7 SP3) web that only displayed template content. In both cases a single Generic Control had been added, with content using the most simple html tags.Clicking "Edit this page", save with no changes, and clicking once more through the workflow to a published state solved the problem.

I'm not sure I ever checked that these pages was published successfully, but before saving and solving the "Edit this page" button was displayed as usual, and properties (also "More options") set like most other well-behaving pages in our web.

Before we check all pages (3000), is there any potential problems we should be aware of?

    Thanks for any input.

    Hello olav,

When you use Workflow the changes made to a page only when you publish the content. Before that you use staged version of the page. I suspect that the page was not published or there were some changes to the versioning/history which cased empty content.

    Thanks Ivan,

All pages were previously published from the root, starting with the entire list of drafts and so on, nothing should have been able to slip away, and I'm positive that the status was published after the first publishing operation and also when I discovered the problem earlier today. I can't imagine any way I have influenced the versioning/history later on. (no rollbacks with this project)

However, Sitefinity had me waiting a long time during the publishing of a large number of edited pages in the same operation, which included the two problem pages. Maybe something went wrong at that time, without warnings.
Anyway, I guess much of this will be new/rewritten with version 4.0. I won't bother checking more now, hoping to see the v4 RC not far from now..
