    I'm trying to set the DesigModes setting in the Radeditor (Wiki module) to "Design" however this option doesn't do anything. I used the same code for the Radeditor in the forum module and it works fine. Somehow it looks like the css is not properly assigned, what am I missing here? Below is the code I use.

    Regards, Jacob

    <telerik:RadEditor

    runat="server"

    ID="Editor"

    ToolsFile="~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/EditorToolsFile.xml"

    EnableEmbeddedSkins="True"

    Skin="Sitefinity"

    NewLineBr="False"

    Width="100%"

    EditModes="Design">

    <ImageManager ViewPaths="~/Images" UploadPaths="~/Images" DeletePaths="~/Images" />

     <MediaManager ViewPaths="~/Files" UploadPaths="~/Files" DeletePaths="~/Files" />

     <FlashManager ViewPaths="~/Files" UploadPaths="~/Files" DeletePaths="~/Files" />

     <DocumentManager ViewPaths="~/Files" UploadPaths="~/Files" DeletePaths="~/Files" />

    <CssFiles>

     <telerik:EditorCssFile Value="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Forums/EditorCssFile.css" />

    </CssFiles>

    </telerik:RadEditor>

    Hi J.J. ter Horst,

    Could you tell us which template you are trying to modify and which mode of the Wiki control you want to change? The backend of the Wiki module do not use RadEditor control.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Ivan,
    I'm editing the template WikiViewSingleItem.ascx which refers to the RadEditor.

    Wikimode = content

    Hello J.J. ter Horst,

    The value is set programmatically in the WikiView control. You could set the mode by overriding CreateEditForm of the WikiView control. You have to set container.Editor.EditModes = EditModes.Design;

    • Hi Ivan,

      Added this code in my page;

    <script runat="server">

    public override void CreateEditForm(object sender, EventArgs e)

    {

    Editor.EditModes = EditModes.Design;

    }

    </script

    However, this generates the following compilation error.

    ASP.sitefinity_controltemplates_wiki_wikiviewsingleitem_ascx.CreateEditForm(object, System.EventArgs)': no suitable method found to override

    Hi J.J. ter Horst,

    You need a custom control (class/compiled code component) that inherits from WikiView. You cannot do this by using a web user control.
