We are curious to know if we can develop a custom module without the help of in-built module builder.

On surfing the internet we found some resources for custom modules built using module builder.

But our requirement is not to use the in-built module builder.Kindly share any links/documentation for this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Aloy,

Examples to do it without the Module Builder can be found here: www.sitefinity.com/documentation/documentationarticles/tutorials-modules. It's a lot of work!

    Hello Aloy,

As Arno provided in his post, you can take a look at the Custom Modules article from the Documentation for information and tutorials on how to create a module.  Please note that modules created this way will require a higher maintenance than modules created through the Module Builder, as you will need to create every component of the module (Views, scripts, manager and provider classes, among others).

    I hope this information helps.
