Does SF 6 track how many times a document has been donwloaded?

    And if it does, where does it store it? The views_count insf_media_content never seems to go up.

     Sorry if this is obvious but I can't see it.

    Nope, neither do content items...they all have the fields (I think except for dynamic content), but it's just like they forgot to do it...or decided against it for performance reasons.

     There is a media downloading\ed event you can hook into to incriment that value yourself though
