    Hello,

    We are fairly new to Sitefinity, and we have questions about how to display dynamic content details. We are doing Feather/MVC development in version 8.2. We understand placing the dynamic content widget on a page, setting the list template and the detail template and specifying a page where to show the detail. Do we place the dynamic content widget on both the page containing the list as well as the detail page (we don’t want the autogenerated page option)? How can we also link to the detail page from somewhere other than the list widget?
    Also, we’d like to have multiple pages show different aspects of the dynamic content’s detail. One landing wow page with summarized info and images, and 3 other pages showing more detail along with different child and related content. What is the best way to achieve this?
    Thank you

    Hello,

    Yes, the page on which you want the dynamic content item displayed, must have a Dynamic content widget added.
    Here is a direct link to the documentation on this:
    http://docs.sitefinity.com/feather-dynamic-content-widget

    Also, here is the general info on Dynamic content items;
    http://docs.sitefinity.com/dynamic-content-items
    and section on the URLs of dynamic content items;
    http://docs.sitefinity.com/administration-urls-of-dynamic-content-items

    As MVC dynamic content widgets are displayed through templates for list and detail views you can can adjust them to your needs;
    For example, modify fields of a single dynamic content widget;
    http://docs.sitefinity.com/feather-modify-fields-of-a-single-dynamic-content-widget

    You can include related content to dynamic modules, built-in modules, and pages so that you can relate content to any other content.
    More info on that:
