    Hi there,

I've created a new provider for the news module, creating a new template for the backend management UI. I'd like to add default content to the RAD Editor field when creating a new resource - could anyone point me in the direction of how please?

Ideally I'd put the content in the resx file and pull it in from there.

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Hi Steve .,

If you use our parser you can create Messages resx file which should be embedded resource. Then you can read the data from the resx file using Messages.KeyYouNeed.

    Thanks for the reply Ivan.

Could you give me a few tips on where/how to pass the Messages.Key paramater to the Editor please?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve .,

    1. You can access the RadEditor after you map the external template when you work with additional provider. You can do this inside PreRender and then you can set the Content of the RadEditor. In this case it is better to use with local resources instead of embedded resources, because you should use external template

    2. If you have a custom module you can use Messages.MyKey. In this case you can inject the code in the backend of a custom view. All templates should be embedded.
