    Hi All,

I am having some problems with the display of the Event_Start field of the events module. Whatever I do it allways displays in America format and not any other. I found several post about this and tried them all.

    Originally the file contained this

    <asp:Literal ID="Event_Start" runat="server" Text="{0}"></asp:Literal>

But changing that line to this

    <telerik:DateTimeLiteral runat="server" ID="Event_Start" DateFormatString="dd MMMM yyyy"></telerik:DateTimeLiteral>

    has no effect.

I double checked that the system was using the external template for this file but any other change to the file is visible on the page. The website in question is a 3.7 SP1 Community Edition website.

How do I get the control to display the date correct?

    Hi David van Geel,

Please give a try to the suggestion provided in this post - display-times-in-eventview. Also for public templates use the Mode templates - ListPageMaster.ascx and ListPageDetail.ascx

    Best wishes,

    Sorry Ivan,

This works on the News List control but has no effect on the Events List control. I'll try your remark about the ListPageMaster.ascx and ListPageDetail.ascx templates later.

    Regards,

    David

    Hi David van Geel,

Could you please apply the suggestions from Ivan's post on those template files, and then make the Events View control use them:
    ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Events/Modes/ListPageMaster.ascx
    ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Events/Modes/ListPageDetail.ascx
