    Hi Team,

GC Modules use Expiration_Date to move the contents. I need to use this feature to move the user from one defined rol on fly when the content is perimed. Exist one method that is testing this Expiration_Date to override or can you suggest other method?.

    Thanks

    Hello Pierre,

Here are the properties that MembershipUser class exposes - MembershipUser Properties. If you can use these properties for your task you could achieve your goal easily.
If not you could create some custom data layer where you persist DateTime property that should be exposed as a Profile data for each user.

    All the best,

    Hi Ivan,

I understand your suggestion using one item of profile to store the date and after perform one filter for expired contents but i not see how. In the fact i searching to allow only during the publishing period the user to some role (news allowed), and when the item is expired delete this role from profile. If the user is not logged some time the role is always here, but i need to remove if the items is expired. One way is using global asax but this demand get all module contents searching expired contents for this user. I searching a more performing way to exclude one user from role when items are expired. Other way?. Thanks.

    Hi Pierre,

You could use scheduled service to check for the users and the last activity date periodically.
