I am working on a site where they like the news layout the way I have it but they also have 1 page where they want to list the top 3 or 4 news items they have posted but they need a different look.  what is the best way to get a newsView control to use a different CSS file?

    Hi Ted,

You can map the external template ListPageMaster.ascx for NewsView and then using jQuery selector you can get the first 3-4 news items.

    Kind regards,

I should have stated that I am already using an external template.  is there a way to map this news control to a new template?

    Hello Ted,

Using SingleItemTemplate path of the control allows you to map it to another template.
