I am getting the following error when I try to publish changes to a page. I can save fine, but I cannot publish. Has anyone ever run into this error before? Any insight into what may be causing it? I cannot find much on the Sitefinity.com support site...

    Thanks!

    Solomon Shaffer

    Hello Solomon,

The error seems to be caused by some other problem which blocks the initialization of the workflow services. Please do the following:

    1. Open Sitefinity.log file located under App_Data folder and clear it.
    2. Restart the application.
    3.  Try to publish a content item. An error will be thrown. Check whether there is an error (the actual error) thrown before this one.

Please tell us the exact version of your project and whether you have some customization related to Sitefinity's workflow.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hi,

Clear the entire log and try to replicate the error. Is this the only message logged in when you get the error? If you restart the application does the error persist? Are you working in NLB?
