I have a user control (a contact form) that displays a results message after the form has been submitted. The results message is exposed as a property of the user control and allows the user to set its value through a HtmlContentEditor WebEditor.

There is a problem when a user inserts a hyperlink to an existing site page through the editor. At run time the hyperlink still includes the Sitefinity page guid instead of the name of the page.

    For example:

    http://www.websitename.com/[Sitefinity]bfa930cc-407e-4268-bebe-ede1c4cd71e6

    Thanks,
    Simon

    Hello Simon,

You need to resolve the dynamic link. I suggest that you should take a look at Resolving dynamic links

    Thanks Dimitrov!

At what point would I handle resolving the dynamic link? Would I do it when the business user is setting the properties on the contact form, or before the results message is displayed to the end user?

    Thanks again,
    Simon

    Hello Simon,

You can do it once you have the value of the url. It could be done in the form you have or during load when the url is set of the public side.

    All the best,
