    Hi

    I'm looking for a way to allow users/customers to manage thier own profiles once logged in, which will also include a few additional meta fields e.g. Company Name etc.

    Does such a control already exist?

    These users are not CMS backend users, but users/customers who have access to restricted front end pages

    Thanks

    Hello Quade,

    You can use ManageUsers control and extend it. Additional way is creating a form that calls ProfileBase and you get the value that your user has entered.

    Example:

               MembershipUser user = Membership.GetUser();
            ProfileBase profile = ProfileBase.Create(user.UserName);

                string fname = "MyFirstName"
                string lname = "MyLastName"
                profile.SetPropertyValue("FirstName", fname);
                profile.SetPropertyValue("LastName", lname);
                profile.Save();

    I hope this helps.
