Since I upgraded from 3.5 to 3.7 I am missing sections of metadata in the news editor.

The old version of the site displays External Url, Permissions, Sections and Location but the new version does not show any of them, it just jumps from Content to Category.

I have verified  \Admin\ControlTemplates\News\ControlPanelEdit.ascx is the same in both versions and also checked the Web.config files and both have the metadata fields properly defined.

Both sites have the same data.

I don't know where else to look.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello raindogmx,

These are some custom filelds that you have added to the template. Since 3.6 edition we use embedded templates.  You have to map and modify these external templates following this KB.
You only have to add the custom controls that shows your metakey data.
