For adding permissions, please refer to this reply
. The easiest way is to have some hardcoded values for the permission over the link. You could get the current user Role (UserManager.GetCurrentUserRoles) and depending on the role show or hide the link. You can do this in Sitefinity\Admin\Default.aspx
. The links are added by a repeater repeaterModules
which you can access. You could use appSettings
node of the web.config and read the required permissions from there.
