    Hello

I really like the look of this product and have been trying the demo.

In our company we need file versioning - so products like dotnetnuke do not seem adequate in that respect.
I have been trying the rollback functionality, and was disappointed to see that the application deletes the versions that have been submitted after the rollback.
For example, if I were to rollback from version 10 to version 6, then the application deletes versions 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Is there a workaround for this please?
For example, rather than ACTUALLY rolling back to version 6, could the application create a version 11 that was in effect version 6? Therefore keeping all the other versions 7-10 rather than deleting them?

If this is not possible in the current release of sitefinity, would it be easily possible for us to alter the source code and sql to enable this behaviour please?

Thanks for any help and advicve with this issue.

    Stu

This is an issue for us as well.  We can train users not to do this unless they are absolutely certain, but rollback should just make the rolled back to version active, and leave the later ones there in case we need them...

    Hello Adam

Thanks for the reply. So we agree what rollback should do.
Are there any plans to actually do this please?
Or, can the source code be changed if we buy the product?

    thanks
    Stu

    Hi Stuart and Adam,

Currently we cannot provide any workaround for this requirement. Nevertheless, we will take this request into consideration and will add such functionality for one of the forthcoming releases. We will do our best to do this as soon as possible.

    Best wishes,
    Nikifor
