All of my pages in Sitefinity show a search box error in the edit mode.  They seem to be fine when published, but I would still like to fix the error.   Any ideas are appreciated.  I've attached a screenshot.

    Hello Troy Lawrence,

The problem is that you have edited the search box to use a control which requires the page not to be null in order to be rendered. An example of this control is RadTextBox. In page edit mode the page object is returning null, so you will see the error. You can try something like in this blog post to prevent the control from rendering an error message: http://www.sitefinity.com/blogs/ivan/posts/08-01-04/tip_displaying_default_text_for_empty_controls.aspx.

    Kind regards,
