    Hi all,

This requirement is a new one for me.  I am setting up a web site that has restricted pages for member's only. People need to log in to see the pages.

      1.  My first idea is to use Sitefinity CMS for managing the Members.  I set up a roll called members.

       2.  I created a test page called membersarea and set the permission for Members to view.

    Question:
How do I keep the public from viewing the page.  In classic ASP, I place some code that checks for session ID and cookie.  Is there an article, or webiniar how to meet this requirement?  I need to be pointed in the right direction to educate myself.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hello David ,

You can just set "Deny Anonymous" property in page's property section. By doing so all not authenticated requests will be redirected to your login form.

Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    Sincerely yours,

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks, I set Deny Anonymous then made some modifcation to the web config, and appears to be working great.

    Thanks,
    David
