    Site: www.visfire.com

    After adding a new content area in my home.master file,
    <div class=".BlogContentBox">
                   <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="LowerBodyBlog" runat="server"></asp:ContentPlaceHolder>
                </div>

    I added a blog control in the CMS.  At this point the site was still working.

    I soon noticed my class error, ".BlogContentBox" instead of "BlogContentBox", and added a div wrapper while I was in there, new code:
    <div class="BlogBox">
    <div class="BlogContentBox">
                   <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="LowerBodyBlog" runat="server"></asp:ContentPlaceHolder>
    </div>
    </div>

    After trying to refresh the page, I recieved the following compiler error:

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    I have since reloaded the previous home.master file, but the site is still down.  Please help

    Hello Cory,

    In the code behind of your master page - Home.master.cs you are using an object - pnlimage1 which does not exist in the master file or it cannot be accessed directly.

    Kind regards,

    On a side note, the home.master.cs file was never modified, only the home.master.

    Thank you for all the help.

    I did not make edits to the home.master.cs file and the page was working prior to my change to the home.master file.

    What do you suggest?

    Hello Cory,

    Check the master file for pnlimage1. This is a general ASP.NET error which is not caused by Sitefinity our our code.

    All the best,

    Thank you for your reply.  The object, pnlimage1, has not previously caused a problem and I never made any changes to the master.cs file.  All my changes were to the .master file.
