I received pointers from Sitefinity on how to get a sub-domain to point to a page group within a Sitefinity application. We went ahead, finished the application (still in 3.6) only to discover that in the web.config it seems that 3.6 does not support the following:
|<cms defaultProvider="Sitefinity" ...>
| <urlMappings type="Custom" customService="UserUrlMappingService, App_Code">
| <add key="[username]" value="[page_path]" />
...as pointed out in your article: Creating a custom URL Mapping Service
So now we have an application that is about to go live and no way to map to a page group as suggested in the above mentioned article.
Any suggestions on how we can do this manually? With code? With Asp.net's UrlMapping?
