    Hello all...

I am having problem with site menu. My site menu is similar to the forum menu having the last menu item as News Item. But, the only difference is it is not a link and is pure text. So, instead of using a page I am using a div element for my News item which is positioned on the right side by using css float.
To be clear, my news item is in place of the menu item "For Business Users" in this site.

Everything seems working fine but, when we zoom in or zoom out by using ctrl+ / ctrl- the div element(news item) is wrapping down. It is working good in your site.
I tried to explore your site in firebug and I found that each list item is given a fixed width. I believe that this width can do some trick because the RadMenu ul element width is not consistent across different browsers.

Is this the solution for my problem? If so, how to set different widths for each list items?
If I am wrong, then could you please assist me on how to prevent wrapping of that news item?

    Hello Dinesh,

The menu at  www.sitefinity.com is static so we have hard-coded the width of each item in the Rad Menu's ascx file. So if you think you do not need a dynamic menu you can use static menu and set widths to items explicitly. The widths of items should not differ among browsers as you think to break the layout.

The other approach I can think of is to use EMs to set dimensions. So you may not set widths to menu items and set margin-left to the last one in EMs.

Let us know if you need further help.

    Kind regards,
    Katia
